Someone once asked me what would I be doing if I didn’t have music in my
life? I didn’t have an answer for that question but what I can tell you is I would
be lost without music in my life.
Like most everyone, I have a great family, a beautiful and supportive wife, (I
love you Kathleen) awesome kids and some good friends. And like most kids, I
grew up singing along with my albums, 45’s and 8 tracks. I also had some great
influences in my life.
When I was 12 yrs old, I heard my first live rock-n-roll band. It was in my
basement and it was my oldest brother Bill. He and some of his friends put a
band together and practiced in the basement. They played Chicago, the Stones
and some other great music. Once they were practicing at grandpap's garage and
let me sing Spinning Wheel from Blood, Sweat and tears. Well that was all she
wrote. I WAS HOOKED!!!!!!
A couple of years later, my other brother Don gave me a set of drums. I learned
and played them for 15 years. Then I picked up the guitar and I’m playing it still.
So 33 years and lots of bands later, I finally have something to write home about.
A totally off the hook, high energy, must see rock-n-roll band!!!!!
